Installation

This LED TL tube has a single-sided connection (L and N on one side) with an input voltage of 100-240V and is connected directly to the mains. We advise against connecting the TL tubes to another source of electricity, as this may affect and shorten the lifespan of the tubes.

Installing with an LED TL fixture

If you place this LED tube in a LED TL fixture, you can install the tubes directly and connect the fixture to the power grid.

Installing/replacing in a non-LED TL fixture

If you want to connect the LED TL tube in a current/conventional TL fixture, this is also possible; our LED TL tubes can replace traditional TL tubes. However, an adjustment to the fixture is often required. A LED starter is included with the LED T8 tube. If you still have a fixture equipped with a conventional starter and want to keep the traditional transformer? Then you can use the included LED starter.

Light color

To determine the right light color, it is important to know what the light is for. Below is described what the different light colors are most commonly used for.

• 3000K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow. Ideal for a nice warm homey and calming atmosphere in living rooms, waiting areas, cafés, restaurants, corridors, and other common areas.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus, and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, for example in offices, classrooms, kitchens, hallways, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells, or waiting areas.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are desired, for example in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios, and garages.
