What is a LED recessed spotlight

A LED recessed spotlight is a ready-to-install spot lamp that can be built into the ceiling or a cove. By ready-to-install, we mean that no separate LED lamp or driver needs to be purchased to install it. However, it is possible to replace the driver with a different type of LED driver, for example if the spotlight is not standard dimmable. In that case, the LED driver can be replaced by a dimmable LED driver.

Recessed spotlights have a sleek design and look elegant, calm, and minimalist. Our recessed spotlights are suitable for many different spaces and situations. Installing LED recessed spotlights not only provides beautiful atmospheric lighting for the room, but these LED spots are also energy-efficient and last much longer than traditional/halogen recessed spotlights. This way, you can enjoy LED lighting for many years after installation.

In addition, our recessed spotlights are made from durable materials that are free of lead and mercury, making the lamps environmentally friendly as well.

The installation of our recessed spotlights is very simple because the lamp is equipped with an LED light source, a constant LED driver, and 2 spring clips to clamp the spotlight into the cut-out hole. You only need to connect the driver to the power network, but make sure the power is switched off when you do this!

Another advantage is that LED spots last very long, averaging about 20,000 burning hours. A halogen spotlight lasts on average only 2,000 burning hours. So you almost never have to replace the lighting.

Tiltable recessed spotlights

Our recessed spotlights have a beam angle of 60°, thanks to the reflective ring around the light source which ensures nicely even bundled light. The spots can shine straight down if desired, or you can choose to tilt them to illuminate a specific area or object and give extra attention.

Dimmable recessed spotlights

With LED spots it is possible to dim the light. In our product range, we have both standard dimmable and non-standard dimmable LED spots; the non-dimmable recessed spotlights are optionally dimmable. To dim this lighting, you need a dimmable driver, which you can purchase separately.

Create atmosphere in every room

Our spots are available in different color temperatures. These are warm white, neutral white, and cool white. Warm white LED spots create a cozy atmosphere. These spots are very suitable for use in, for example, living rooms, bedrooms, or restaurants. The light color of neutral white LED spots most closely resembles natural daylight. Cool white LED spots emit light with a blue tint and are often used in spaces where good visibility is important. Besides LED spots in different color temperatures, we also have RGB+CCT LED spots. With this LED spot, everything is possible. You can set all colors and all white light colors. To operate the spots, you need a remote control, wall control, or WiFi module (for operation with your smartphone).
