An LED batten is a complete LED fitting with built-in LED: no tube, no starter, straight onto ceiling or wall. Our tri-proof LED battens are waterproof (IP65), linkable and suitable for workshops, garages, warehouses and car parks. Choose from 60, 120 and 150 cm and six series, from the affordable EntryLine from €14.95 to 200 lm/W with energy class B.

What is an LED batten?

Batten is the trade term for an elongated surface-mounted fitting with integrated LED. It replaces the classic fluorescent fitting with tubes in one go. Our LED battens are tri-proof: resistant to water, dust and impact, so you can install them in damp and dusty spaces with confidence.

Linking LED battens

With through-wiring you connect LED battens in series on one supply cable: up to 60 units of 60 cm, 30 of 120 cm or 20 of 150 cm. That gives you a long light line with less cabling.

Connecting an LED batten

An LED batten connects directly to 230V, without starter or ballast. Have a fixed connection made by a qualified electrician.

What is the difference between an LED batten and an LED tube?

An LED batten is a complete fitting with built-in LED. An LED tube is only the light source, placed in a fitting for LED tubes or an existing fitting.

How many lumens does a 150 cm LED batten give?

6,000 to 9,500 lumens, depending on the series. The 190 lm/W version gives 9,500 lumens at 50W.

Is an LED batten waterproof?

Yes. All our LED battens are IP65: dust-tight and protected against water jets, suitable for damp spaces and covered outdoor areas.

Which LED batten is the most efficient?

The 200 lm/W series: 9,000 lumens at 45W (150 cm), energy class B.

Can I link LED battens?

Yes. Up to 60, 30 or 20 units on one supply, depending on the length.
