Installation

Installing this downlight is simple. Always ensure the power is switched off. Connect the driver to the power network and place the downlight into the hole (The cut-out size for this lamp is approximately 285mm) by pulling down the spring clips, which hold the lamp firmly in place. Turn the power on and you are done.

Dimmable

This LED downlight spot is dimmable. The dimmable LED driver is included. Note that for dimmable LED lighting, an LED dimmer is always required. A traditional dimmer does not work (properly) with LED lighting and can cause short circuits.

Light colour

To determine the correct light colour, it is important to know what the light is used for. Below is a description of the most common uses for the different light colours.

• 3000K has a slightly yellow/orange glow. Ideal for a cozy warm homely and relaxing atmosphere in, for example, living rooms, waiting rooms, cafés, restaurants, corridors and other general spaces.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, for example in offices, classrooms, kitchens, hallways, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, staircases or waiting rooms.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are desired, for example in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios and garages.
