A large surface benefits from a light line that remains visible beyond its beginning. This 15m SMD2835 LED strip set provides approximately 960 lumens per metre and contains 120 LEDs per metre. It produces a brighter light line along an extended working or display area.

Connecting 120 LEDs/m over 15m

The 230 V supply is permanently wired through screw terminals and has no plug; consult an installer if unsure. Position the supply in the middle of the light line: one strip runs in one direction and two joined strips in the other. This helps prevent brightness dropping at the ends.

More light along a long indoor wall

Fit it along a wall of workstations, above a long row of kitchen cupboards or by shelving in a dry workspace. The LED points are closer together than on the 60 LEDs/m version.

Do you need 120 LEDs/m for a long light line?

For brighter light, this 9.6 W/m version delivers around 960 lumens per metre. The 60 LEDs/m set uses 4.8 W/m and produces about 480 lumens per metre, making it better for accents than a brightly lit work area.

Choosing colour temperature for the work area

• 2400K Extra warm white: warm lighting for a hospitality display.
• 3000K Warm white: a warm appearance above a desk.
• 4000K Neutral white: practical lighting along a display wall.
• 6000K Cool white: white light along a technical workbench.

Adjusting lighting through the working day

For changing between task and accent lighting, use a Mi-Light single-colour LED strip controller to adjust brightness, with the Mi-Light 4-zone remote control. Install the controller between the supply and strip. A conventional 230 V wall dimmer does not work.
