A long working area calls for light across its full width, not merely a decorative glow. With 120 LEDs per metre and approximately 960 lumens per metre, this 10m SMD2835 LED strip set provides bright illumination. The power supply and connectors are included for a fixed 24 V connection.

Connecting the two SMD strips to the power supply

The 230 V side of the supply requires permanent wiring through screw terminals; there is no plug. Consult an installer if unsure. On the 24 V side, connect the first strip with the cabled connector, then join the second strip after it, without soldering.

Lighting long work areas with 120 LEDs/m

Illuminate the length of a hobby worktop, a storage rack in a workshop or a long kitchen wall needing more brightness. Individual LED points remain visible when viewed directly.

When are 120 LEDs/m more useful than 60 LEDs/m?

At 120 LEDs per metre, the light points are more closely spaced and provide approximately 960 lumens per metre. The 60 LEDs/m set provides approximately 480 lumens per metre and uses less power, so it is better suited to a subtler accent.

White tones for different tasks

• 2400K Extra warm white: an extra warm accent by a sideboard.
• 3000K Warm white: warm white by a kitchen wall.
• 4000K Neutral white: neutral white for a worktable.
• 6000K Cool white: cool white in a dry garage.

From work lighting to a softer setting

Switch between task lighting and a calmer brightness level with the separately available Mi-Light single-colour LED strip controller, operated by the Mi-Light 4-zone remote control and connected between the supply and strip. Do not use a standard 230 V wall dimmer.
