12V or 24V – What’s the Difference

Our LED strips are available in 12V and 24V. Both versions work plug & play and come with the correct adapter. The main difference is the maximum length you can use without visible voltage drop.

• 12V LED strips – recommended for projects from 5 meters up to 10 meters. Beyond 10 meters, slight brightness reduction may occur. Ideal for smaller applications such as furniture, stair steps, compact coves, or accent lighting.
• 24V LED strips – best choice for lengths from 5 to 20 meters. Due to less voltage drop, light output remains stable over the entire length. Perfect for kitchens, long coves, walls, retail, hospitality, and professional installations.

Efficiency: this strip delivers 960 lumen per meter at 9.6W/m, resulting in a high light output of 100 lumen per watt.

Tip: choose before ordering whether you need a 12V or 24V set. Both options are fully plug & play and come with a matching adapter.

High-Quality LED Strip

The SMD2835 LED strip is made of high-quality material, flexible and easy to place thanks to the 3M adhesive edge. With a standard length of 5 meters, it is ready to use immediately. The strip has an IP20 rating and is suitable for dry spaces such as living rooms, kitchens, offices, hospitality, furniture projects, and retail.

Cutting, Making Corners, and Expanding

The set is complete and ready to use. However, if you want to:

• shorten the strip
• make a corner
• extend or split the strip

additional connectors are required. The strip can be cut every 5 cm at the marked points.
