How does a flicker-free driver work?

A traditional LED driver converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) required by the LEDs. However, this can result in flickering, which is not always visible to the naked eye.

A flicker-free driver, on the other hand, uses advanced technology to stabilize the current and eliminate flicker. This creates a comfortable and healthy lighting environment.

Good for photography and video

LED lighting flicker is often not visible to the naked eye. That does not mean it is absent. With a camera, flicker can be seen. Flicker-free LED lighting is ideal for photography. Because there is no flicker, no blurry stripes or other unwanted effects appear in your photos.

How many LED panels do you need?

The number of LED panels you need depends on the height and size of your space.

At a height of 2.7 meters, this panel illuminates approximately 15 m². So for a room of 150 m², you basically need 10 panels.

There are a few factors you can consider:

• Desired light intensity: How much light do you want in the room? For office spaces, a light intensity of 500 lux is recommended, for example.
• Type of LED panel: The light output of LED panels can vary. So check the specifications of the panel you want to buy carefully.

Experience the benefits of edge-lit LED lighting

Our edge-lit LED panels feature an ultra-flat design of only 11.3 mm. In edge-lit LED panels, the LED chips are located at the edges of the panel. The light is guided through a special diffuser plate, which evenly illuminates the panel.
