10m COB LED strip for subtle ceiling and cabinet lighting

A long run of cabinets or ceiling edge needs a light line that does not stop halfway. This 10m COB LED strip set creates a continuous, soft and even line of light without visible LED dots. A suitable 24 V power supply and connectors are included.

Connecting the 10m COB light line

Wire the 230 V side of the power supply permanently via its screw terminals; there is no plug, so consult an installer if you are unsure. On the 24 V side, connect the first strip using the cabled connector, then join the second strip behind it without soldering.

Ambient light along ceilings and furniture

Cast indirect light across a living-room ceiling, follow the top edge of a long run of kitchen cabinets, or create a continuous illuminated border in a hallway.

Essential or Advanced at 10m: which is right?

This 8 W/m Essential version delivers approximately 800 lumens per metre and is intended for ambient lighting. Where more functional illumination is needed, the 10 W/m Advanced version delivers approximately 1,000 lumens per metre.

White light colours for a calm atmosphere

• 2200K Extra warm white: an extra warm glow over a seating area.
• 2700K Warm white: pleasantly warm light in a living room.
• 3000K Warm white: warm white light beside kitchen cabinets.
• 4000K Neutral white: neutral white for a worktable.
• 6000K Cool white: cool white in a dry garage.

Dimming the ambient lighting

Use the separately available Mi-Light single-colour LED strip controller and Mi-Light 4-zone remote control to dim the lighting along the full cabinet run. Place the controller between the power supply and strip. A standard 230 V wall dimmer is not suitable.
