For installations where a few millimetres matter: this 3 mm, 24V COB LED strip fits aluminium profiles and furniture channels from 5 mm wide, creating a smooth, continuous line of light without individual LED dots. With 400 chips per metre, power consumption of 8W per metre, a CRI above 90 and a height of only 2 mm, it suits discreet built-in lighting.

What can you achieve with 3 mm?

At just 3 mm wide, the strip can fit 6 mm stair-nosing profiles, beneath kitchen cabinet doors and in grooves in furniture and cupboards. These spaces are too narrow for conventional wider strips.

8W per metre means 40W for a full 5-metre reel. The strip can be cut every 2 cm, even for the confined spaces it is designed for.

Which colour temperature suits your project?

• 2700K Warm white: The warmest white, similar to a traditional incandescent bulb. Suitable for bedrooms, lounges and hospitality settings where a cosy atmosphere matters.
• 3000K Warm white: Slightly fresher than 2700K while remaining warm. Its less orange tint also suits living rooms and kitchens where you want warmth without a distinctly yellow light.
• 4000K Neutral white: Neutral white with no pronounced warm or cool tint. Suitable for kitchen worktops, offices and retail displays needing clear, functional light.
• 5000K Daylight: Cool white light close to natural daylight. Suitable for workshops, studios and places where a fresh light colour and good colour rendering are desirable.
• 6000K Cool white: Cool white light with a crisp, technical appearance. Suitable for counters, garages and technical rooms where a cool colour temperature is preferred.

Power supply, dimmer and accessories

• Driver: A 5-metre run needs a 24V driver rated at least 50W.
• Dimmer or controller: The strip is dimmable using a 24V single-colour controller.
• Installation: Optionally combine with a narrow aluminium profile and matching diffuser for a tidy, finished installation.
