10-metre COB LED strip set with power supply for task and accent lighting

When a line of light needs to provide useful brightness as well as an accent, sufficient output over 10 metres matters. This 10-metre COB LED strip delivers approximately 1,000 lumens per metre. Its 480 chips per metre create an even light effect. The set includes the components for a fixed electrical connection.

Connecting the hardwired power supply and two COB strips

The 230 V side of the power supply requires a fixed connection via its screw terminals; it does not have a plug. If in doubt, have an installer make the connection. On the 24 V side, connect the first strip using the connector with cable, then connect the second strip after it, without soldering.

Bright lighting across long work surfaces

Install the strip along a long workbench in a hobby room, the upper edge of a wide office wall or in a high ceiling recess above a seating area. The position determines whether the light is direct or indirect.

Cut every 5 cm or cut at any point?

This Advanced strip can be shortened every 5 cm and produces approximately 1,000 lumens per metre. The cut-anywhere 10 W/m version can be shortened at any point and provides around 750 to 800 lumens per metre, which is useful when the required length does not match a cutting mark.

Choosing the right shade of white for work and interiors

• 2200K Extra warm white: soft accent lighting in a hotel lounge.
• 2700K Warm white: gentle lighting beside a wardrobe.
• 3000K Warm white: comfortable lighting in a bookcase.
• 4000K Neutral white: bright lighting in a home office.
• 6000K Cool white: a crisp light colour in a workshop.

Dimmable task and accent lighting

The brighter Advanced strip can also provide softer light: install a Mi-Light single-colour LED strip controller between the power supply and the strip, then operate it using the Mi-Light 4-group remote control. Dimming with a standard 230 V wall dimmer does not work.
