With this GU10 spot you save up to 85% energy compared to traditional / halogen GU10 spots. Due to the low energy consumption of 5W with a high light output of 425 lumen, this LED spot is very energy efficient. This 5W GU10 spot replaces a 50W halogen spot.

Dimmable

This LED spot is dimmable. Note that an LED dimmer is required to dim LED lighting. A traditional dimmer does not work (well) with LED lighting and can cause short circuits.

High quality

This GU10 2700K LED spot is made of high-quality aluminium. The spot contains 1 COB LED chip that provides a high and concentrated light output. Because the light source is surrounded by a reflective ring, there is a beam angle of 35°. Installed in a ceiling with a fixture, this provides a focused beam of light that is perfect for illuminating, for example, living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, shops, waiting rooms etc.

GU10 lamp base

Always make sure the power is off when replacing the spot. Note: halogen spots get hot. Unscrew the old spot from the lamp base. Then screw the LED spot into the lamp base. Dispose of the old lamp at a recycling point or waste collection site.

Colour temperature

To determine the right colour temperature, it is important to know the purpose of the light. Below is a description of the most common uses for the different colour temperatures.

• 2700K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow. Ideal for a pleasant warm homely and relaxing atmosphere in, for example, living rooms, waiting rooms, cafés, restaurants, corridors and other general spaces.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, for example in offices, classrooms, kitchens, corridors, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells or waiting rooms.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are desired, for example in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios and garages.
