With this GU10 spot, you save up to 85% energy compared to traditional/halogen GU10 spots. Due to the low energy consumption of 5W with a high light output of 425 lumens, this LED spot is very energy efficient. This 5W GU10 spot replaces a 50W halogen spot.

Dimmable

This LED spot is dimmable. Please note that an LED dimmer is required for dimming LED lighting. A traditional dimmer does not work (well) in combination with LED lighting and can cause short circuits.

High quality

This GU10 2700K LED spot is made of high-quality aluminum. The spot contains 1 COB LED chip that provides a high and concentrated light output. Because the light source is surrounded by a reflective ring, there is a beam angle of 35°. Placed in a ceiling with a fixture, this provides a directed beam of light which is perfect for illuminating living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, shops, waiting areas, etc.

GU10 fitting

Always ensure that the power is turned off when replacing the spot. Note: halogen spots get hot. Unscrew the old spot from the fitting. Then screw the LED spot into the fitting. Return the old lamp to a recycling point or waste disposal site.

Light color

To determine the right light color, it is important to know what the light is used for. Below is described where the different light colors are most commonly used.

• 2700K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow. Ideal for a nice warm homey and calming atmosphere in living rooms, waiting areas, cafés, restaurants, corridors, and other common areas.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus, and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, such as in offices, classrooms, kitchens, hallways, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells, or waiting areas.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are desired, such as in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios, and garages.
