High quality

This LED strip SMD2835 is made of high-quality plastic and is very flexible. The back has a 3M adhesive strip making it very easy to place. The strip has a standard length of 5 meters, but this can easily be adjusted by cutting the strip or by connecting multiple strips together. This LED strip has a protection rating of IP65. This means that the strip can withstand water or moisture. The strip can be used in humid environments or outdoors between a temperature of -25°C to 60°C. The LED strip can be used as decorative lighting or as main lighting.

Waterproof LED Strip

This LED Strip has an IP65 rating. This is waterproof and dustproof and can therefore be placed in humid environments. The strip is protected against water up to 100 liters per minute (a tap delivers about 12-16 liters per minute).

Extending or cutting LED strip

This LED strip is very easy to cut to shorten or extend. Both 12V and 24V can be cut every 3 LEDs (10cm). Cut the strip in the middle of the copper plates where a + and - are indicated. These can easily be clicked into a connector or capped with a cover.

The following connectors are available to shape the LED strip as you wish.

The right power supply

To connect the LED strip, you need a power adapter. This LED strip operates on 12V and must be converted with an adapter. Choosing the right adapter is important to get the most out of the LED strip but also to prevent too little power from flowing through the strip.

Ensure that the total wattage of the power adapter is higher than the wattage of the LED strip. (Example: 5 meters = 24W. Therefore, a power adapter with a minimum power of 24W is needed.)

Applications for LED strips

This LED strip is suitable for both commercial and private use. The LED strip is often used in the following situations: Stand construction, escape rooms, shops, cafés, and restaurants, public transport, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.

The possibilities are endless. Think of lighting along stair treads, lighting in cabinets, or lighting under a couch or bed. In cafés, LED strips are often used to illuminate the bar. LED strips are also often used as ceiling lighting in a recess.

Light Color

To determine the right light color, it is important to know what the light is for. Below is described where the different light colors are most commonly used.

• 2400K has a soft orange glow. Comparable to candlelight or a late sunset. Ideal for a nice warm homely and calming atmosphere in, for example, living rooms, cafés, restaurants, and other spaces that do not require bright light.
• 3000K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow and is slightly brighter than 2700K but still warm. Ideal for a nice warm homely and calming atmosphere in, for example, living rooms, waiting areas, cafés, restaurants, corridors, and other common areas.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus, and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, for example, in offices, classrooms, kitchens, corridors, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells, or waiting areas.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are desired, for example, in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios, and garages.
