Greening and saving
This LED panel saves you up to approximately 70% energy compared to traditional / halogen TL panels. Due to the low energy consumption of 40W with a high light output of 120 lumen/watt, these light panels are very energy efficient. Switching to LED lighting makes your business or home more durable and saves you a lot on energy costs within a few years. In addition, you reduce your CO2 footprint.
IP65 Water-resistant
This LED panel has an IP65 rating, meaning it is water-resistant and can be used in damp rooms. No water can enter the lamp unless sprayed with 100 litres per minute. A tap provides about 12-16 litres per minute, so it can handle quite a bit but should not be submerged.
Lighting per m²
The number of LED panels you need to illuminate your space depends on the height and size of the room.
At a height of about 2.7m, this panel lights approximately 8m². For an 80m² space, 10 panels would be sufficient.
Edge-lit
The LED chips of an edge-lit panel are spread over the entire surface of the panel. This illuminates the panel up to the edges. Due to this distribution, the panel is flat and extra thin, namely 11.3mm. This makes edge-lit LED panels easy to install in surface frames. Both the outer frame and the back are made of high-quality aluminium. This ensures good heat conduction and distribution.
Light colour
To determine the right light colour, it is important to know the purpose of the light. Below is a description of the most common uses for the different light colours.
- 3000K has a slightly yellow/orange glow. Ideal for a cozy warm and relaxing atmosphere in living rooms, waiting areas, cafés, restaurants, corridors and other general spaces.
- 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, such as offices, classrooms, kitchens, corridors, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells or waiting areas.
- 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are required, such as hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios and garages.
