High quality

This LED strip is made of high-quality plastic and is very flexible. The back has a 3M adhesive strip which makes it very easy to install. The strip has a standard length of 5 meters, but this can be easily adjusted by cutting the strip or by connecting multiple strips together. This SMD5050 LED strip has a protection rating of IP65. This means the strip is resistant to water or moisture. The strip can be placed in damp environments or outdoors between temperatures of -25°C to 60°C.

Waterproof LED Strip

This LED strip has an IP65 rating. It is waterproof, dustproof and can therefore be placed in damp environments. The strip is protected against water up to 100 liters per minute (a tap delivers approximately 12-16 liters per minute).

Extending or shortening LED strip

This SMD5050 LED strip is very easy to cut to shorten or extend. Cutting can be done in the middle of the copper pads marked with + and -. These can easily be clicked into a connector or sealed with a cap.

With a voltage drop of approximately 0.1V per meter, the brightness of the LEDs remains consistent over the entire length of the strip. For optimal performance, we recommend extending the LED strip to the following maximum lengths:

LED Strip 12V

For optimal performance, we recommend not extending this 12V strip longer than 10 meters. This maintains an even light effect without noticeable brightness loss.

LED Strip 24V

For optimal performance, we recommend not extending this 24V strip longer than 20 meters. This maintains an even light effect without noticeable brightness loss.

The right power supply

To connect the LED strip you need a power adapter. This LED strip operates on 12V/24V and must be converted with an adapter. Choosing the right adapter is important to get the most out of the LED strip and to prevent insufficient power supply.

Make sure the total wattage of the power adapter is at least 20% higher than the power consumption of the LED strip. (Example: 5 meters = 72W | 72x1.2= 86.4 | So a power adapter with a capacity of at least 86.4W is required. We recommend 100W.)

Applications for LED strips

This LED strip is suitable for both commercial and private use. The LED strip is often used in the following situations: trade shows, escape rooms, shops, cafés and restaurants, public transport, living rooms, bedrooms etc.

The possibilities are endless. Think of lighting along stair steps, lighting in cabinets or lighting under a sofa or bed. In cafés, LED strips are often used to illuminate the bar. LED strips are also often used as ceiling lighting in coves.

Light colour

To determine the correct light colour, it is important to know the purpose of the light. Below is a description of the most common uses for the different light colours.

• 2400K has a soft orange glow. Comparable to candlelight or a late sunset. Ideal for a warm, cozy and relaxing atmosphere in living rooms, cafés, restaurants and other spaces that do not require bright light.
• 3000K has a slightly yellow/orange glow and is a bit brighter than 2700K but still warm. Ideal for a warm, cozy and relaxing atmosphere in living rooms, waiting areas, cafés, restaurants, corridors and other general spaces.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, for example in offices, classrooms, kitchens, hallways, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells or waiting areas.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are required, such as hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios and garages.
