Installation

The installation of this downlight is simple. Always ensure that the power is turned off. Connect the driver to the power network and place the downlight in the hole (The cut-out size for this lamp is approximately 285mm) by pulling down the spring clips, which hold the lamp securely in place. Turn the power on and you're done.

With this LED downlight, you save 80% energy compared to traditional/halogen recessed spots. Due to the low energy consumption of 24W with a high light output of 1800 lumens, this LED lamp is very energy efficient. This 24W downlight replaces a 120W halogen lamp.

Dimmable

This LED downlight is dimmable. The dimmable LED driver is included. Note that for dimmable LED lighting, an LED dimmer is always required. A traditional dimmer does not work (well) with LED lighting and can lead to short circuits.

Light color

To determine the right light color, it is important to know what the light is for. Below is described where the different light colors are most commonly used.

• 3000K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow. Ideal for a nice warm homey and calming atmosphere in, for example, living rooms, waiting areas, cafés, restaurants, corridors, and other common areas.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus, and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, for example, in offices, classrooms, kitchens, hallways, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells, or waiting areas.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are desired, for example, in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios, and garages.
