Installation

Installing this downlight is simple. Always ensure the power is off. Connect the driver to the power network and place the downlight in the hole (the cut-out size for this lamp is approximately 105mm) by pulling down the spring clips, which hold the lamp firmly in place. Turn the power on and you are done.

Dimmable

This LED downlight spot is dimmable. The dimmable LED driver is included. Note that for dimmable LED lighting, an LED dimmer is always required. A traditional dimmer does not work (well) with LED lighting and can cause short circuits.

Light color

To determine the right light color, it is important to know the purpose of the light. Below is a description of the most common uses of different light colors.

• 3000K has a somewhat yellow/orange glow. Ideal for a cozy warm homely and relaxing atmosphere in, for example, living rooms, waiting areas, cafés, restaurants, corridors, and other general spaces.
• 4000K has a white/yellow glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility, focus, and a pleasant atmosphere are desired, for example in offices, classrooms, kitchens, hallways, shops, fitting rooms, hair salons, stairwells, or waiting rooms.
• 6000K has a white/light blue glow. Ideal for a well-lit space where good visibility and concentration are desired, for example in hospitals, laboratories, workshops, studios, and garages.
