How this LED strip to DC connector works

The connector has a click housing for an 8mm single-color LED strip on one side. On the other side is a DC plug cable that plugs directly into the DC output of an LED adapter.

1. Carefully open the cover of the connector.
2. Slide the LED strip under the contact clips, paying attention to the + and - markings on the strip.
3. Press the cover closed until it clicks audibly.
4. Insert the DC plug of the power supply into the DC connection of the connector.
5. Connect the adapter to the socket and the strip lights immediately.
