What is UVC LED
UV-C LED is a lamp that emits ultraviolet rays at a wavelength. All light power is concentrated at 253 nanometers, better known as the UV-C band. UV-C light has a short wave that breaks and disrupts cellular DNA and therefore has a strong germicidal effect that kills or inactivates all kinds of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and other pathogens.
Sterilizing and disinfecting any space
The quality of the air we breathe daily, the water we drink, and the hygiene of surfaces we touch have a great impact on our health. Everyone is at risk of contracting and spreading viruses and bacteria, especially in busy public spaces such as offices, factories, shops, bars, restaurants, schools, museums, and public transport. Additionally, you can also contract and spread viruses and bacteria at home or in the car.
This method of disinfection has been used for more than 40 years. All viruses and bacteria tested to date (many hundreds, including various coronaviruses) respond to disinfection with UV-C. In laboratory tests, UV-C light sources inactivated up to 99% of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on a surface after 6 seconds of exposure. This means that UV-C can play a valuable role in your protection strategy.
A solution for dust mite allergy
Many people have allergies, sometimes without the person experiencing allergic symptoms knowing it. In most cases, this allergy is not caused by the dust mite itself but by a substance (allergen) in the excrement. This allergen is produced in the digestive tract of the dust mite. These allergens are then inhaled by people, causing various complaints. Common symptoms include coughing, asthma, eczema, sneezing, and watery eyes. Dust mites are often found in beds, making allergic reactions often worst at night.
